The Investigation Had Already Been Pre Planned & Setup By NEPA Paranormal Society As We Were Invited To Assist Them On This Investigation. We Arrived At The Location And Began To Setup Equipment Soon As Possible Being It Was A Large Building And We Had Alot of Areas To COver As Well As Alot of Equipment To Setup Being Two Teams.
Equipment And Gear Selected:
Certain Rules Apply For Each Investigation. Every Investigator Wears An Audio Recorder & Records The Entire Time. This Debunks Many False Evps Along With Also Helps Us Capture Evps That We May Not Have Gotten While Not Doing A Actual Evp Session.
There Was A Total Of 8 Audio Recorders. Four Infared Cameras Attached To A DVR System, Two Emf Detectors, Two Temperature Gages, Thermal Audible Motion Sensor, Two Video Cameras, And Also Six Digital Cameras.
Investigation Begins Here:
Chuck and Jerry headed down to the first floor, to the old holding jail cells. We spent roughly an hour investigating the jail cells and several times we thought that we heard voices. We only hoped that we had captured these disembodied voices on our audio recorders, or they would only be personnel experiences.
At one point we heard foot steps above us, and upon asking on the radios if there was any one walking on the second floor, there was indeed investigators walking around. Chuck and Jerry sat at command central while others headed off to investigate. After about 10 minutes, Matt from NEPA Paranormal Society came back from the jail cells that Chuck and Jerry had just left. Matt said that he had heard what sounded like foot steps and when he turned around, there it was, a police dog growling at him. The police station is connected to City hall and they must forgotten that we was there. So after a few more minutes, Chuck and Matt went down to have the police remove the dog but, when they got to the first floor, there was no dog to be found any where.
We all continued investigating through out the night in different spots of city hall that had reported activity. At one point Chuck and Jerry headed to the basement where the original jail cells were. Now keep in mind its in the basement, there is no windows for any light source to come in. It was by far the darkest and creepiest place that HSI had been in. We settled in for an evp session and turn off our flash lights.Its was so dark in there, you would have to experience it to understand. Chuck soon got the feeling that some thing or some one was in the one corner looking at him. It got so bad at one point Chuck wouldn’t even look that way. After about five minutes Jerry looked over that way and seen what looked like a glowing blue ball about 5 feet off the floor. I waited for a couple of seconds to make sure I wasn’t seeing things and then the ball came toward Jerry , but at the ceiling level. It then came down from the ceiling and at about 2 feet from me turned left and was gone.
Before Jerry could say to Chuck what he had just seen, he said to Jerry “ Dude, its gone, what ever it was” Jerry then told him what had happened and that he felt a breeze go by him out the door to my left and that I was so cold that I had goose bumps on my arms and legs. It was a really cool experience, but Chuck said that he didn’t like it when it was watching him like that.
Matt and Wayne from NEPA went to the basement. They went in to that room we was in and with in 5 minutes reported seeing a full body apparition in the very same corner that I seen the glowing blue ball. Great personnal experiences were being had by every one this night. We couldn’t wait to go over all the footage and pics and audio to see if we captured any thing.
Research & Analysis:
The Picture We Received That Night Were Not Bad. We Were Alittle More Curious About The Audio For Some Reason. We Captured Great Evp's. We Had High Hopes Of Something But What We Got Was Incredible. There Is So Many In Which We Captured That We Are GGoing To Let You Listen To Them & See What You Think. Unfortunetly We Only Captured One Picture And That Was Taken From The Basment Where The Ball Of Light & The Full Body Apearation Was Seen. So Please Take A Look At What We Got & Let us Know What You THink.
Conclusion And Ending Thought's
Carbondale City Hall was a very interesting location. It dates back to the very early 1800's and it one of the very first buildings built in Carbondale. Again the Jail cells alone are old and like would be considered today illegal to put someone into something like that.
We had enough personal experiances to come to the conclusion that there is in fact soemthing Paranormal going on in Carbondale City Hall.
